This coincides with the annual closure of the Patent and Trade Mark Office and courts in Australia. The Intellectual Property office of New Zealand is closed from the end of business on Friday 23 December and will reopen on Wednesday 4 January 2017.
Any action that has a deadline falling over the official closure period/s will have the deadline extended to 3 January 2017 in Australia and 4 January in New Zealand.
