POF Partner, Edwin Patterson, is the exclusive winner of the Intellectual Property Patents category for Australia in the 2016 Client Choice Awards. Edwin received this prestigious award based on surveys with senior corporate counsel. The winners were then selected from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments.
The Client Choice awards recognise Partners around the world who stand out for their excellent client service. The awards identify those who add real value to clients’ business beyond market expectations. The extensive research process has been specially designed to assist clients in nominating the best lawyers for client service worldwide and facilitate referrals between client service-focused law firms.
The winners of the Client Choice awards are decided based on several criteria including the quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology.
Edwin joined POF in 2005 and is a patent and trademarks attorney as well as a Partner of the firm. Edwin assists clients in a wide range of technologies ranging from mechanical devices through to complex mining, metallurgical, chemical and clean technology processes.
